Adjumani District in the West Nile sub-region hosts one of the largest refugee populations in Uganda. A distinctive relationship exists between the Madi communities of Uganda and refugees from South Sudan. BSU is supporting the Adjumani District Elders’ Forum (ADEFO) to establish a multicultural centre in Adjumani Town aimed at promoting peaceful coexistence, mutual learning, and research.
