First BSU Meeting Emphasises Collaboration
BSU at Gulu held its first meeting of 2026 for Work Package Leads on January 23, bringing together team leaders to review 2025 activities and align plans for the year ahead.
BSU currently operates through six work packages — four research-focused and two administrative.
In her welcome remarks, BSU Coordinator Dr. Agatha Alidri emphasized the importance of collaboration with both African twinning partners and partners in Denmark.
“It is important that we involve them in both planning and implementation. Our work should clearly reflect partnership. Let us remain flexible, work together, and ensure that we move forward smoothly,” she said.
Key BSU activities this year include the annual meeting in Zanzibar and joint initiatives with twinning partners.
